The doctors and staff at Kirklands surgery in Portsmouth are proud to offer the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare.  We run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes and offer a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and well-person check-ups

Situation and Car Parking

We regret that there is insufficient space to be able to offer patients car parking facilities on the premises. However, there is ample space in the driveway for private cars or taxis to `drop off’ and `pick up’ patients who have difficulty walking. The best car parking possibilities are in Powerscourt Road.

NAMED ACCOUNTABLE GP FOR ALL PATIENTS

All Kirklands patients now have a named accountable GP.  The named accountable GP is responsible for the patients' overall care at the practice.  If you would like to know who that GP is please contact the surgery.  If you have a preference as to which GP that is, the practice will make every effort to accommodate this request.  It will not always be possible for you to see the allocated GP; when booking a routine appointment patients are also free to book the GP of their choice.  When requesting a same day emergency appointment it may not always be possible to book the doctor of your choice.
